The System Utilization Report is used to observe how heavily the system is being used.
From the landing page, select the ‘Utilization’ link:
Interpreting the Report:
There are two key metrics here: Actions Pressed per Patient by Site(1) and Visits Per Patient(2):
- Icons Selected per Patient: This is the average number of icons used per patient. We like to see this number over 1.85.
- Badges per Patient: Green is the average number of times that a support staff (nurse, medical assistant, etc.) badges in per patient. We like to see this number over 1. Blue is the average number of times that a provider badges in per patient. We like to see this number close to 1 too.
Best Practices
- Where possible, rely on SyncTimes to communicate with care staff.
- Hold staff meetings to review this data so care staff is aware of their habits and can see where adjustments can be made.
